By Katy Hershberger

Penguin

Penguin is reorganizing its promotional teams, and Riverhead and Viking Penguin will now have individual dedicated marketing and publicity departments (they have had a joint department for the last six years). Riverhead associate publisher and director of publicity Jynne Dilling Martin is promoted to vp, deputy publisher, overseeing Riverhead’s marketing and publicity teams. She’ll continue to report to Riverhead president and publisher Geoff Kloske. Riverhead director of marketing Ashley Sutton will report to Martin.

SVP, associate publisher Kate Stark will continue to lead the marketing and publicity teams for Viking Penguin. Stark will report to Penguin Viking president and publisher Brian Tart; executive director of publicity Lindsay Prevette and director of marketing Mary Stone will continue to report to Stark.

Ad/promo staff for the formerly-combined Viking Penguin Riverhead department will join a central ad/promo team, continuing to be led by executive art director, ad/promo Lynn Rogan, who now reports to svp, marketing strategy Christine McNamara.

As a result of these changes, Viking Penguin director of publicity Louise Braverman will leave the company.
