Random House Publishing Group   

EVP and executive director of publishing operations Lisa Feuer will retire in December after 22 years at the company. In a release, EVP business strategy Bill Takes said, “Lisa’s ability to turn the impossible into the routine has been a gift for all of us. It is hard to imagine making a book here at the Random House Publishing Group without her. Her generosity, humility, intelligence, unwavering dedication to her craft, and capacity to simply get it done have not only influenced her exceptional staff, in whom she rightfully takes great pride, but have also been a model for what real quality is.”

Scholastic   

President of education solutions Rose Else-Mitchell will leave to pursue other interests. Effective immediately, Beth Polcari becomes president of education solutions. She was previously president of international.

CFO Ken Cleary will leave his current role when a successor is named and become president of international. The company has hired a search firm to find the next CFO.

Morrow Group   

Ellie Anderson has been promoted to publicist.

Harper Collins   

Liz Velez has been promoted to assistant editor for Harper and Harper Perennial.
