Henna Crowner has joined as design fellow.

Wynne Au-Yeung has joined as design fellow.

Kathryn Li has joined as kids design fellow.

Marlene Kwasnik has joined as financial analyst.

Caitlin Ek has joined as publicist, children’s.

Tracey Vega has joined as senior sales manager, mass market.

Aki Neumann has been promoted to production designer.

Penguin Random House Canada   

Cheryl Chen has joined as managing editor, Canadian paperbacks, sharing responsibility for the company’s list of imprints with managing editor Liz Lee.

Danielle Gerritse, previously publishing coordinator within the corporate publishing team, will move over to the Canadian paperbacks team as associate managing editor.

Trinity University Press   

Yvette Benavides has joined as an editor-at-large, focusing on acquiring for the new Tinta Books imprint, “which will highlight the history, culture, and current affairs of Mexico and Mexican American life.”

BookSmart Literary Scouting   

Former director of film/TV at Franklin & Siegal Erin Hennicke has started her own agency, BookSmart Literary Scouting. The company’s first client is the Hallmark Channel and it will be looking for romance and holiday stories.
