The company has “ambitious plans to grow B2B sales in the digital space,” particularly with educational tech platforms.

Siobhan O’Hare joins as product director for Ahab Talent and Volumes. She was most recently vp, content at Orbis Technologies.

Alexandra Hernandez joins as publicist, Listening Library. She was previously at Levine Querido.

Brittanie Black joins as publicist, focusing on Random House Publishing Group titles. She was previously at Berkley.

Mark Stewart has been promoted to director, distribution & warehouse operations for the Chicago Distribution Center.

Heather VenHuizen has been promoted to senior art director. Carrie Conlisk and Cari Zwolinski have both been promoted to senior sales coordinator.

Wiley   

Jay Flynn has been named evp of Wiley Research, succeeding Judy Verses and reporting to president and ceo Brian Napack. Verses is leaving the company for personal reasons.

“As we publish more and expand our portfolio of digital research solutions, Jay and his team will continue to enable the growing success of millions of researchers worldwide,” Napack said. “I want to take this moment to recognize Judy’s tremendous contributions to Wiley. She has guided the transformation of our research business into an engine of growth and leaves Wiley Research an industry leader and a force for positive impact.”

Separately, Victoria Savanh has joined as associate editor at Wiley Business. She was previously at Penguin.

Springer Nature India   

Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi joined on September 16 as managing director. He was at National Skill Development Corporation.
