Dani Segelbaum has been promoted to vp, literary agent, and subsidiary rights director.

Carisa Hays has launched PR company Carisa Hays Public Relations, which she calls “a literary public relations firm devoted to connecting authors with the widest number of readers.” The company will offer services to authors, publishers, and non-profit organizations. Hays left Random House earlier this year after a long career working in publicity director positions at Crown, Free Press, Dell/Delacorte and The Dial Press, and Putnam.
