Obituary: N. Scott Momaday
N. Scott Momaday, 89, the author of House Made of Dawn, which won the Pulitzer in 1969, died on January 24 at his home in New Mexico. Momaday was the first Native American author to win the prize. He was also a poet, essayist, and artist.
