Disney Book Group publisher Jonathan Yaged is leaving the company for the plum job of chief operating officer of HouseParty.com, a company that organizes modern-day Tupperware parties, PW reports.

Aly Mostel has joined Rodale Books as associate director of communications. She was publicity manager at Time magazine for the past two years.

Houghon Mifflin Harcourt’s 2010 Best American writing series will feature guest editors including Richard Russo (short stories), Neil Gaiman (comics); Lee Child (mystery stories); and Bill Buford (travel writing).

Simon & Schuster is working with GetGlue to offer their authors an easy-to-create widget that display’s their entire backlist and make it easy to link to (and use affiliate codes for) a dozen major retailers, including the big chains, the major ebook platforms, and IndieBound and Powell’s.
