LJ book review editor Heather McCormack is leaving the publication on July 17 after nearly 14 years there in a variety of posts. She is joining 3M as collection development manager, starting August 6.
Rajdeep Mukherjee is joining Pan Macmillan India as svp, head of the unit, on September 19. He is currently Sales and Marketing Director for Harvard Business School Publishing and was, until three years ago, Pan Macmillan’s sales and marketing manager for the Indian Sub-continent for eleven years. Rajdeep will take over from Daniel Watts, whose next position “will follow in due course.”

Lowell Irven Farley, 81, passed away July 3, following a vigorous battle against lung cancer. Together with his wife Edna who died last year, they became one of themost foremost book publicity teams, promoting and touring hundreds of bestselling authors for over 30 years.
