Live Streams, One Sell-Out, and A Reading List

January 13, 2013
By Michael Cader

Digital Book World Week is here and while nothing takes the place of being there, the organizers have introduced a new paid livestream option for those who can’t make it to New York for the event on January 16 and 17. The livestream subscription includes the morning keynotes both days, as well as 3 afternoon breakout sessions each day. Details and registration for the livestream only are here. Regular DBW attendees will have full access to the streamed and recorded content through the end of the month, along with their choice of over 50 sessions across two days–show registration is still open.

The activity starts with our Publishers Launch Children’s Publishing Goes Digital one-day event on Tuesday, but that conference is now entirely sold-out (as is the two-day package that combines our event with the first day of DBW). If you are enrolled for DBW, the first afternoon features a children’s track that continues the programming from the PLC event on Tuesday. (There is now an option to register for just one day of DBW as well.)

And for everyone, the Publishers Lunch Bookateria has a Digital Book World reading list posted, combining books from featured speakers, books on publishing and titles on managing for change.
