The AP provides an advance look at the work of their own reporters Matt Apuzzo and Adam Goldman included in the forthcoming September 3 release ENEMIES WITHIN: Inside the NYPD’s Secret Spying Unit and bin Laden’s Final Plot Against America.”
They lead: “The New York Police Department has secretly labeled entire mosques as terrorism organizations, a designation that allows police to use informants to record sermons and spy on imams, often without specific evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Designating an entire mosque as a terrorism enterprise means that anyone who attends prayer services there is a potential subject of an investigation and fair game for surveillance.”
eBooks are going into attack mode, with the release of former Michelle Bachmann advisor Peter Waldron and co-author John Gilmore’s short self-published BACHMANNISTAN: Behind The Lines. Issued by their Boat To Forever Productions, on Kindle only for now, it’s billed as an “explosive tell all book about the secretive world of Michele Bachmann and her political machinations that led to her dramatic retirement from Congress this year. A behind-the-lines look into Bachmannistan where immoral, illegal and unethical behavior was either condoned or ignored.”
