Beyond BEA, Digital Book World 2015 Announces First Keynotes

May 28, 2014
By Michael Cader

Looking a few big events down the road, our conference partners at Digital Book World have officially opened for registration the sixth annual conference, to be held January 13 – 15, 2015 in New York. Today’s announcement includes some of conference’s broad themes, as well as the first group of timely keynote speakers.

Already on the docket are top CEOs — Brian Murray of HarperCollins (which recently announced their planned acquisition of Harlequin) and Linda Zecher of recently-public Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (the first part of an expanded look at ed tech and other education-related issues) — and two top authors, Ken Auletta (whose unparalleled access to media decision-makers has put him back at the center of the Jill Abramson story) and Walter Isaacson, author of the forthcoming The Innovators and innovator himself in crowd-testing portions of that book online well ahead of publication. We have another terrific group of keynote speakers being finalized right now for announcement shortly.

Of course there is plenty of time to secure your tickets for the next DBW. Today’s announcement is a prominent reminder to put the event on your calendar, and as you would expect, the very best ticket prices are on offer now. As has been the case since we embarked on this journey with F+W Media, Publishers Lunch readers get the very best price anywhere on individual conference and total access pass tickets. Just use this registration link, which has our discount code pre-filled.
