Founding partner of Folio Literary Management Paige Wheeler will relaunch her previous company, Creative Media Agency, as an affiliate of Folio, relinquishing her partner role and focusing on client management. Wheeler said in the announcement: “I have had a tremendous amount of fun in starting and growing Folio to become a powerful and important agency in a fast-changing industry. Now, though, I’d like to focus more of my efforts on client management. Relaunching CMA as an affiliate of Folio is the best of both worlds — I get the flexibility I want with the support of Folio behind me.”

Rachel Marks is joining Rebecca Friedman Literary, representing young adult, fantasy, science fiction, new adult and romance. She has worked as a publicist for authors for the past three years.

The Brookings Institution Press announced three new hires as part of their reorganization under the new direction of Valentina Kalk. Bill Finan is the new editorial director (he was international relations and public policy editor at the University of Pennsylvania Press); Carrie Engel joins as publicity manager (she was marketing manager for books at the American Diabetes Association and a publicist for National Geographic Books); and Bethany Biskey is the new marketing manager.

Maria Campbell Associates has been appointed US scout for Fayard, Livre de Poche and Hachette Jeunesse, divisions of the Hachette Group, as of July 1 — and Maria Campbell Associates UK will serve as UK literary scout for Fayard and Livre de Poche.

Linda Clark Associates has been appointed US scout for Timas Publishing Group in Turkey.
