Lisa Yoskowitz will join Little, Brown Books for Young Readers as executive editor on July 21. Previously she was senior editor at Disney-Hyperion.

Noah Ballard has joined Curtis Brown as a literary agent. He had previously been with Emma Sweeney Agency. He will continue to represent literary fiction, thrillers and narrative non-fiction.
800-CEO-READ announced a number of changes following the retirement of founder and president Jack Covert. Sally Haldorson has been promoted to general manager and will oversee day-to-day operations of the company. Aaron Schleicher takes over as sales group leader while Meg Bacik moves up to customer service group leader. Dylan Schleicher will oversee both the editorial and marketing departments, while Ryan Schleicher returns to the company as press relations manager.
Nature Study Guild Publishers, which owns the Nature Study Guides, has been fully acquired by Keen Communications’ publishing group. Keen had provided client services to the Rochester, NY-based publisher since 2008. Administrative functions for NSG will transfer to Keen’s Birmingham, Alabama, offices but Publishers Group West will remain the official distributor of Nature Study Guild to the trade.
