“Friends and Family”

October 3, 2014By Michael Cader

We’ve already told you a little something about the outstanding line-up of speakers and sessions already coming together for our sixth Digital Book World Conference January 14 and 15 — and the return of our one-day Publishers Launch Kids event on January 13. (DBW keynoters include Russ Grandinetti, Brian Murray, Linda Zecher, Ken Auletta, Walter Isaacson, Seth Godin, and Hilary Mason — plus we’ve just added Judith Curr, NYT director of news analytics James Robinson, and education venture capitalist Matt Greenfield.)

The simple point of today’s post is a reminder that the best, early pricing for the events expires October 6. If you know you are interested in attending, holding your place now can save you hundreds of dollars. Often people who know me well will write personal notes just before the conference asking for my best discount, but the truth is we provide our best offer to all Publishers Lunch readers. That’s been part of our arrangement with our partners at F+W Media since the creation of the Digital Book World event: Lunch readers who use our discount code/link always get the best available discount on individual conference tickets (whether you want DBW-only or the 3-day “total access pass.”) We’d love to see you there at what has become trade publishing’s premier gathering, and we’d love to get your our best “friends and family” deal right now before the prices go up.
