Launch Kids and DBW

November 10, 2014By Michael Cader

Friday we recapped the amazing line-up of keynotes and speakers set for Digital Book World on January 14 and 15, but DBW actually kicks off on the January 13 with our fourth annual Publishers Launch Kids conference. The biggest gathering in children’s publishing to look at the business opportunities in the digital transition, this year’s program features major movement in education (from Google and News Corp.’s Amplify), as well as such new developments as the rise of online fandom; Kickstarter for children’s literature; personalization; ebook subscriptions just for children’s books; new adventures in storybuilding; and more. (A few notable panelists are just finalizing agreements to appear now.)

The full Launch Kids agenda so far is here along with the full program for DBW and all of the corollary events. Today is the last today to claim the current savings on the full ticket prices, before they go up another “step” tomorrow. To put Launch Kids and/or DBW on your January calendar, lock in the best-available additional discount on individual conference and Total Access tickets by using this registration link just for Publishers Lunch readers (or contact the DBW team directly for group discounts).
