At Simon & Schuster Children’s, Nick Elliot has been promoted to assistant marketing manager.
Chronicle Books will handle sales and distribution for UK-based illustrated books publisher Quadrille Publishing in North America, starting with the fall 2015 season. Quadrille plans to hire a US-based marketing and publicity executive and expects to publish approximately 20 titles a season for this market. Quadrille was acquired in 2013 by Australia’s Hardie Grant.
Legato Publishers Group started selling and distributing Forest Avenue Press in the US as of December 1, and will distribute and sell Microcosm Publishing and Destination Press as of January 1.
Quarto has entered into a distribution partnership agreement with Maine-based Sellers Publishing for a number of books published through Quarto’s Quintet imprint.
