Danielle Crabtree has been promoted to senior marketing manager for the Crown, Hogarth, Broadway, and Tim Duggan Books.

At Glitterati, Brandon Schultz has been promoted to associate publisher.

Allison Sundstrom has joined Sourcebooks as graphic designer. Previously, she was packaging and production designer at FibreCraft.

Politics and Prose bookstore has hired Heidi Metcalfe Lewis to head a new corporate events initiative, designed to “match visiting authors with area businesses for private events and talks—supported with bulk book buys.” Most recently, she was associate director of publicity at William Morrow/Dey Street.

Jean Stein is funding a new, $75,000 PEN/Jean Stein Book Award, to be given annual to “a book that has broken new ground and signals strong potential for lasting influence.” The judging panel of writers will be kept anonymous, and candidates will be nominated internally, without submissions from outside. The first winner will be announced next February at the PEN America awards ceremony.
