Andrew Martin has been promoted to senior vice president at St. Martin’s Press, in addition to his current role as publisher of Minotaur Books.

Penny Moore has joined Empire Literary as an agent, focusing on young adult. Most recently she was at Fine Print Literary.

Andrew Yackira has left his role as editor at Tarcher Perigee to found Pigasus Books, “a full-service writing and publishing consultancy, providing copy editing, proofreading, line editing, literary coaching, and agenting.”

At Ten Speed Press, Lisa Westmoreland has been promoted to executive editor, continuing to acquire and edit titles for both Ten Speed and Watson-Guptill.

Courtney Nobile has joined Basic Books as an assistant director of publicity. Previously, she worked at Fortier Public Relations and at Penguin Random House.

At Chronicle Books, Terri Lancaster has been promoted to production coordinator, reprints.

Carolyn Cox has joined Open Road as editor of the Alt, their upcoming community site for sci-fi and fantasy fans. She was editor at the Mary Sue.

Joanne Lee has joined Little, Brown Children’s as graphic designer, creative services department. She was most recently a designer at McGraw-Hill Education.

Correcting Monday’s item, Lauren Spieller joined TriadaUS after serving as a part-time assistant to the children’s scout at Mary Anne Thompson Associates.
