Bloomsbury’s head of visual arts publishing and academic, USA Kathryn Earle will take on the new position of managing director of the Digital Resources Division. Head of digital Matt Kibble will report to her, and she will report to managing director of Bloomsbury academic and professional Jonathan Glasspool.

The Jo Unwin Literary Agency will operate as a fully independent entity as of September 1, after a previous association with Rogers, Coleridge & White. Translation rights for JULA will be handled by Conville & Walsh.

Lena Dunham announced on Instagram that she is working on a short story collection that Random House will publish next year, titled Best and Always. Her story “The Mechanic” was published in the summer fiction issue of her newsletter Lenny Letter, and will be included in the book.
