At INScribe Digital, Larry Norton has been promoted to evp, general manager, running the business for the new owner, IPG. He succeeds Anne Kubek, who as previously reported is leaving the company as part of the planned transition.

Maris Kreizman has joined the Book-of-the-Month Club as editorial director. Most recently she was publishing outreach lead at Kickstarter.

Bloomsbury’s head of visual arts publishing and academic, USA Kathryn Earle will take on the new position of managing director of the Digital Resources Division. Head of digital Matt Kibble will report to her, and she will report to managing director of Bloomsbury academic and professional Jonathan Glasspool.

Kristin Norell will join Chronicle Books as international sales director on September 6. Most recently she was vp, international sales at World Book.

Toddi Norum has joined BluebottleBiz as marketing manager, content promotion. Previously she was content strategist and community specialist for Pearson Developers Network.

Michael Spradlin has joined Midwest Tape as marketing director. He was most recently director of sales & marketing at Albert Whitman.

In the UK, Cathryn Summerhayes will join Curtis Brown UK on September 1.  She spent the past ten years as an agent with William Morris Endeavor.

The Jo Unwin Literary Agency will operate as a fully independent entity as of September 1, after a previous association with Rogers, Coleridge & White. Translation rights for JULA will be handled by Conville & Walsh.

Forthcoming
Lena Dunham announced on Instagram that she is working on a short story collection that Random House will publish next year, titled Best and Always. Her story “The Mechanic” was published in the summer fiction issue of her newsletter Lenny Letter, and will be included in the book.
