Trinity University Press founding director Barbara Ras is retiring this month after 15 years. Before launching the press, which publishes 20 titles annually and focuses on nature and environmental writing, Ras was previously on the editorial staffs of Wesleyan University Press, University Press of New England, University of California Press, North Point Press, Sierra Club Books, and University of Georgia Press.

At Penguin Random House, Thomas Glover was named UK sales manager for the US division’s international sales and marketing group, and Samuel Bonner will serve as UK sales and marketing coordinator. Both will be based in London, representing US titles from PRH and the company’s distribution clients.

Ingram announced another round of recent promotions. At Ingram Book Group, Dina Caplan has been promoted to manager of online marketing, content marketing; Ann Zangri moves up to marketing manager; Juan Anthony Walker, Jr has been named wellness center manager; and Jonathan Hardiman has been appointed senior manager, open system and mainframe. Michael Bradford moves up to independent publisher advertising manager. Finally, correcting Monday’s announcement, Ed Spade moves up to senior manager, content acquisition, North America at Lightning Source.

Tom MacDonald has joined the Sourcebooks ecommerce team as marketing manager, responsible for visual and written communication across multiple brands, including Put Me In the Story, Simple Truths, and 1-2-3 Magic. Previously, he was marketing manager at B2C startup Whittl.
