Don Linn has joined UK-based Unicorn Publishing Group as a full partner, based in the company’s new Chicago office, helping “to drive the business forward in the US and Canada” by “working with various galleries, museums, artists, historians and others across North America on new publishing projects.” Previously, he was director for Chicago University Press Distribution Center.

At Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Children’s Kate O’Sullivan has been promoted to senior executive editor. Allison Vroegop and Lily Kessinger have each been promoted to editorial associate.

At Knopf, Erinn Hartman has been promoted to director of publicity; Jordan Rodman moves up to publicity manager; and Anna Dobben is now a publicist.

Liz Tzetzo joined Macmillan this week as vp, client publisher services. Most recently she was vp, marketing and sales director at Basic Books.

Roxanne Jones has been promoted to associate publicist for Berkley.

Book Expo
Pete Souza, author of Obama: An Intimate Portrait: The Historic Presidency in Photographs, has joined the adult breakfast event on Thursday, June 1 — in place of Kenya Barris, whose book release was postponed to April 2018.

Distribution
Ingram Publisher Services announced the addition of five new distribution clients: Dovetail Press, PIE International, Oceanview Publishing, The TMG Firm and Ramsey Press.

Bookstores
Miami-area The Bookstore in the Grove will close by June 30 unless a buyer for the store emerges.

The Queens Bookshop hopes to open in the Kew Gardens neighborhood of Queens in time for the 2017 holiday season after a $70,000 Kickstarter campaign. Vina Castillo, Natalie Noboa, and Holly Nikodem announced securing a space on Lefferts Boulevard.
