Make Your Own News

November 3, 2017
By Michael Cader

Today we introduce a new feature that people have been requesting for a long time: A community bulletin board/classified ad section for sharing news, offers and opportunities that don’t fit in the day-to-day editorial coverage in Publishers Lunch. Our new Classifieds work just like our very effective, industry-leading Publishers Lunch Job Board. Your posts run for seven days on a dedicated page at PublishersMarketplace.com, and every Friday we’ll collect the week’s listings in a special section of Publishers Lunch, which you can see below today.

Use PL classifieds to offer galleys or office space; announce awards, new clients, press releases, literary events and forthcoming releases; congratulate your authors and colleagues; or bring extra attention to your job listing or deal. PL Classifieds help you make your own news, your way, in front of theĀ over 40,000 recipients of Publishers Lunch.

More subtly, you’ll note that the PM version of the Classifieds page tests a new, simplified, mobile-friendly reorganization of our navigational menus into four simple categories. We welcome your feedback, since we hope to roll these out to multiple portions of the site shortly.
