Awards
The FT and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award was given to Janesville: An American Story, by Amy Goldstein, which explores the human consequences of the General Motors assembly plant closure in the American town of Janesville. She is also the first solo female author to the win the prize.

Additionally, the Bracken Bower Prize for the best business book proposal by an author aged under 35 was given to Mehran Gul for The New Geography of Innovation, looking at innovative start-ups outside of Silicon Valley.
