Noted
Bertelsmann’s Offset Paperback Manufacturing facility in Wilkes-Barre, PA was evacuated Tuesday morning, “when employees fell ill from the release of a chemical commonly used in the printing industry.” Eleven employees went to the hospital with reportedly minor symptoms “in an abundance of caution.” The building was cleared for reopening later that day.

Harper Lee‘s will was unsealed on Tuesday, following a lawsuit from the New York Times that was pending. Though the estate initially fought the suit, as the NYT’s story indicates, “the mystery surrounding one of American literature’s most cherished authors only deepened.” The will transferred most of her assets to a trust, and that trust remains private

Distribution
America’s Test Kitchen has a multi-year extension of their global sales and distribution partnership with Penguin Random House Publisher Services.

Picks
The Now Read This PBS/NYT book club pick for March is Mohsin Hamid’s Exit West, just released in trade paperback.
