At Sourcebooks, Deve McLemore has joined as purchasing manager and Leyla Parada has joined as contracts attorney. Laura Costello has been promoted to assistant editor for Sourcebooks Casablanca.

Elizabeth Stranahan has been promoted to assistant editor at Crown Children’s.

Mike Nardullo joins Foundry Literary + Media today as foreign rights director today. He was at Maria Campbell Associates.

Kate Zwaard has been promoted to new position of director of digital strategy at the Library of Congress, to “elevate the institution’s digital planning and drive envisioning and collaboration around digital initiatives.” She was chief of the National Digital Initiatives division, and will continue to oversee the Library Labs and innovator-in-residence programs she created there.

Book Expo invites you to “learn how to capitalize on this [political books] buzz and drive new sales” with the help of expert author Sean Spicer (speaking on Friday morning).

Distribution
IPG announced 10 new distribution clients. IPG will distribute Shinola journals starting May 1. Trafalgar Square will distribute in the US and Canada for Saltway Global publisher clients Baker Street Press, Debrett’s, Hawthorn Press, and Perronet Press, beginning July 1. TSP also distributes St James’s House starting July 1, and has begun distributing Gilgamesh Publishing in the US and Canada and Lost the Plot. IPG’s Academic and Professional program will begin distributing books for Massey University Press on July 1 and J. Ross Publishing on May 1.
