July and August Buzz Books

June 8, 2018
By Erin Somers

With the recent successful launch of our two Buzz Books 2018 Fall/Winter collections, we continue our monthly sampler program with the release of a combined July and August Buzz Books Monthly,  available for download now on Amazon, iBooks, and NetGalley.

This latest edition features seven titles due for publication in the next two months, beginning with a darkly comic novel, French Exit, from bestselling author Patrick deWitt. Next up is Kristan Higgin’s novel about women’s body image and friendship, Good Luck With That, followed by Ottessa Moshfegh’s My Year of Rest and Relaxation, Keith Gessen’s A Terrible Country, and Beatriz Williams’ The Summer Wives.

Rounding out this monthly are two debuts: Zoje Stage’s thriller Baby Teeth and Jack Ford’s Chariot on the Mountain, based on a historical court case in the Old South.

Buzz Books Monthlies are your first and best place to turn for a real insider’s taste of what to read next, and what the book world will be talking about next month. As always, you can check out our extensive preview of new books of interest coming to market in the month ahead.

We hope you enjoy the monthly Buzz Books—keep an eye out for September Buzz Books available in early August. Also, remember that our twice-a-year Buzz Books includes new books from big authors and breakout talents through exclusive and substantial pre-publication excerpts. Read more than 60 excerpts from the hottest books being published this season in Buzz Books 2018: Fall/Winter and Buzz Books 2018: Young Adult Fall/Winter. Plus keep an eye out for Buzz Books 2018: Romance, coming July 12th.
