The Billings Bookstore Cooperative, which backs This House of Books in downtown Billings, MT has settled a financial dispute with former manager Gary Robson. After working at the store for five months, Robson left, claiming the coop owed him “over tens of thousands of dollars” from the deal they made him when he was hired. Though the board called Robson’s claims “false and defamatory,” the two parties went into mediation and reached a settlement that included financial compensation and “some property.” Robson said of the settlement, “I am very pleased to have everything resolved.”
