The Hugo Awards announced 2018 winners in 17 categories on Saturday at the 76th World Science Fiction Convention in San Jose. N.K. Jemisin won best novel for the third year in a row for The Stone Sky, while Martha Wells won best novella for All Systems Red.
At the World Fantasy Convention in November, DAW Books publisher Betsy Wollheim will receive a World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award, for outstanding service to the field, as will author Charles de Lint.
In the U.K., David Mitchell won the Sunday Times Award for Literary Excellence.
