Distribution
Macmillan
will add international distribution for Graywolf Press starting September 1, moving from Turnaround Publisher Services which distributes it in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Graywolf has been distributed in the US by FSG since 2002, and in Canada through FSG via Raincoast Books.

Corporate
According to a recent Companies House Filing, Audible UK had sales of £97 million in 2017, up 45 percent from £67 million in 2016. The unit swung from an operating loss of £11.85 million to an operating profit of £1.94 million. The company said the growth was the “result of an increase in Audible listeners.”

“Cost of sales,” which should include but is not exclusively limited to payments to authors and publishers, was £37 million. The UK Publishers Association recently put publishers digital audiobook sales at a total of £31 million in 2017, up by 22 percent.
