At Crown Publishing, Diana Baroni has been promoted to senior vice president and editor in chief of Harmony Books and Rodale Books. Doris Cooper becomes senior vice president and editor in chief of Clarkson Potter, and Lorena Jones moves up to senior vice president and editor in chief of Ten Speed Press.

Kaiya Muniz has joined the national accounts children’s sales team at Simon & Schuster. She was previously children’s national account sales associate at Hachette.

Scholastic Trade announced a number of promotions: Vanessa Han has been promoted to senior designer at Klutz; Kim Rogers  to associate product editor at Klutz; Nick Thomas to senior editor, Arthur A. Levine Books; Kait Feldman to editor, Arthur A. Levine Books; Julia Eisler to marketing manager, middle grade; Shannon Pender to marketing coordinator, young adult; and Ben Gartenberg to assistant editor, Scholastic Press.

In new hires, Brittany Lowe has joined as sales coordinator, special markets; she was previously at the Theatre Communications Group. Brittany Schachner has joined as trade planner, frontlist; she was previously a freelance managing editor for Scout Books, Print Matters, and Spooky Cheetah Press. Ari (Anna) Holbert has joined as associate metadata manager; she was previously an archives cataloger at LAC Group. Lauren Jackson has joined as brand publicity manager; she was previously at Tor/Forge. Amy Goppert has joined  as senior publicist; she was previously at Disney Publishing.

KF Literary Scouting has been appointed adult scout for Record in Brazil and Urano in Spain/Latin America, expanding on their work as the YA scout for both companies.

Distribution
Black Ocean will distribute Gramma Press starting January 31. New Gramma Press titles will be released in partnership with Black Ocean, while backlist titles will be republished in the future as part of the Black Ocean catalog.
