Further to an early January report that McNally Jackson would remain in their Soho space after all, owner Sarah McNally confirms signing a lease renewal for at least five years, with new rent starting at $650,000 (up from $350,000, but down from the $850,000 initially proposed by the landlord). McNally Jackson will add a 5,300-square-foot store in City Point in Downtown Brooklyn this fall (only about eight blocks from Greenlight Bookstore).
