F+W Media’s bankruptcy proceedings this week included a milestone of note: The bid schedules for the sale of F+W Media’s Books and Communities business lines were approved by the court. For Books, the deadline to submit a bid is May 16; if an auction is required, it will be held the morning of May 20 at the offices of F+W’s counsel in Delaware. Simon & Schuster to Launch Nonfiction Imprint Tiller Press; Wattpad Pairs with Sony Television
Simon & Schuster will launch Tiller Press, “a trend driven imprint focused on publishing timely, culturally relevant books,” this June. With 19 titles planned for 2019, Tiller Press will publish “practical nonfiction, serving readers clamoring for information to solve real-world problems,” including books on wellness, self-expression, empathy, food and cooking, diet, parenting, home, and more.
