Scholastic Trade has hired Hannah Babcock as rights and co-edition manager (she was at Abrams), and Carolyn Seyster has joined Klutz as senior product/toy designer (she was at Viacom/Nickelodeon). In promotions in the trade division: Lauren Donovan is now senior director of publicity; Elisabeth Ferrari moves up to senior publicist; Taylan Salvati becomes publicist; and Jordana Kulak was promoted to publicity coordinator. Carmen Alvarez and Shara Zaval were both promoted to senior marketing manage.

At Catapult, Gabrielle Bellot has joined as head instructor of the writing program. Stella Cabot Wilson has been promoted to writing programs coordinator.

Leah Pennywark will joined the University of Minnesota Press as humanities acquisitions editor, starting August 26. She was previously at Stanford University Press.

At Bloomsbury’s adult trade division, Katie Boni has been promoted to associate publicist.

The titles from Wattpad Books, which launches in August in the US, will be published by Penguin Random House Children’s in the UK. As announced in January, the YA line is distributed by Macmillan in the US and Raincoast Books in Canada.
