At ICM, Sloan Harris has been promoted to co-president of the agency, along with Kevin Crotty. They will oversee all agent-related and client service operations, reporting to managing director Chris Silbermann.

Board member Jennifer Joel takes over Harris’s role as co-head of the publishing department alongside Esther Newberg. The company said, “Joel is one of the top agents in the publishing world, a consummate pro who has demonstrated her undeniable leadership skills as a board member. This is a natural move, as Jennifer has evolved into one of the agency’s leading voices. We couldn’t be luckier to be able to entrust our industry leading publishing department to her and Esther Newberg.”

UK publishing executive Richard Charkin has joined Trillium Partners firm as a senior adviser. He says in the announcement, “Having observed and participated actively in the evolution of publishing industry, I can see significant further scope for M&A activity and the potential for new business models to make their mark.”

Anwesha Basu has been promoted to senior publicity director for the William Morrow Group.

Jessica Thelander has joined Sourcebooks as senior production editor.

Elle McKenzie joins Ladderbird Literary Agency, acquiring primarily children’s books, while concurrently retaining her role as managing editor at 21Ninety. She was an assistant agent at Hotchkiss Daily & Associates.
