Maggie Richards has been promoted to svp associate publisher at Holt. Serena Jones, promoted to editor-in-chief earlier this year, has stepped back from that position and is executive editor “to devote more time to her books and authors,” as new president and publisher Amy Einhorn looks for a new editor-in-chief.

Claire Harris has been promoted to foreign rights director at Foundry Literary + Media.

Luke McCord has joined Random House Children’s Books as a Production Associate. He was previously a Production Editor at Peter Lang Publishing.

The American Booksellers Association’s inaugural Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards have gone to Billie Bloebaum at Third Street Books in McMinnville, OR, who created Bookstore Romance Day, and Nicole Magistro at The Bookworm of Edwards in Edwards, CO, who created the Adopt-a-Reader program.

At Casemate Group, Daniel Yesilonis and Jenna Faccenda have joined marketing executives. Yesilonis previously worked at Taylor & Francis and Faccenda at Running Press. Both report to Sam Caggiula. Jill Tanenbaum has joined as new customer service manager; Sam Thuman joins in a sales and data support capacity; and Kate Stein is promoted to sales director reporting to Michaela Goff.

Distribution
Casemate Group will distribute the following new publishers: Australian Scholarly Publishing in all territories outside Australia/New Zealand, starting January 1; Blikvelduitgevers globally; Bridge 21 globally, moving from Taylor & Francis;  Kerns Verlag globally, excluding Germany; Messenger Publications in the US distribution through Casemate IPM; Neem Tree Press globally through Casemate IPM; and Veritas Books in the US.
