Editors Buzz, Now with A Guest Host

May 18, 2020By Michael Cader

Make sure to add your name to the hundreds who have signed up for the Publishers Lunch Buzz Books Presents (#LunchBuzz) Zoom panel featuring six editors in the format you know and love, coming up soon online on Wednesday, May 20 at 7 pm EDT. We’re excited to welcome one more featured guest, our celebrity host and author, Cameron Esposito. A standup comic, actor and writer, she has appeared on major network television, films, and is co-creator and co-star of Take My Wife, which aired on Starz. Queery, her podcast, features interviews with high profile members of the LGBTQ community. Her first book, Save Yourself (Grand Central), was published in March at the start of the lockdown, so she is an experienced video guest and host.

Remember that the first 150 booksellers who register will get a package of four printed and two digital galleys for the featured titles (since some publishers are currently unable to print and ship galleys), without having to rush the tables at the end of the session. So spread the word among your bookseller friends. And thanks to Bookselling this Week, Shelf Awareness, Library Journal and NetGalley for helping to spread the word.

We’re also helping to raise money for BINC, to help booksellers in need — and Publishers Lunch will contribute $10 for each bookseller who registers for our panel. We are pleased to note that over 10 percent of people who have registered for the event so far have also elected to donate BINC.

Editors Pamela Dorman, Caroline Zancan, Laura Perciasepe, John Glynn, Maddie Caldwell, and Daniel Halpern and Gabriella Doob will present these exciting new titles (plus Vendela Vida’s We Run the Rides, with the jacket still to come). And download our free Buzz Books ebook ahead of the session to read excerpts from all of the books on the panel.
