For the first time, 37 literary agents and agencies in Italy have come together to form a literary agents’ association, ADALI. It “will operate as a new national organism to ensure professional competence and ethical procedures towards its members and their clients…. ADALI aims to promote and safeguard the profession of literary agent in Italy, and to represent the interests of its members within the publishing industry and with public and private institutions.”
Apple Books for Authors is a new “destination where authors can discover helpful resources on writing, publishing, selling, and marketing” their titles on Apple books. It includes a publishing portal that accepts finished EPUB files through a PC/web browser.
