At Penguin Random House UK, Cornerstone managing director Susan Sandon and Vintage UK managing director Richard Cable (who are married) will both leave the company at the end of the year.

Penguin General publisher Venetia Butterfield will take over at Cornerstone and managing director of the audiences and audio division Hannah Telfer will lead Vintage UK, starting next January.

Brand and communications director Rebecca Sinclair will lead the audiences division, and group sales director Rob Waddington will add responsibility as managing director of audio.

Madhulika Sikka will join Crown on October 12 as vice president and executive editor, acquiring nonfiction across all categories and reporting to Crown and Currency editor-in-chief Gillian Blake. Sikka is a journalist who has held roles at NPR, ABC News, The Washington Post, PBS, and Mic.

Darlene Chan has joined the Linda Chester Literary Agency as agent. She previously ran the book pr firm Darlene Chan PR.

Stefanie Rossitto joins The Tobias Literary Agency as literary agent and foreign rights manager, where she will rep historical fiction, romance, and handle foreign translation rights. Most recently she was a freelance reader for Maria B. Campbell Associates.

Veronica Park has been promoted to agent at Fuse Literary.

Nicole Tourtelot has joined The Gernert Company as senior agent, working out of their Los Angeles office. Most recently she was an agent at DeFiore and Company.

Corporate
WH Smith announced the appointment of Nicky Dulieu as a non-executive director. She replaces Suzanne Baxter, who will retire following the Annual General meeting in January 2021.
