Chelcee Johns has joined Ballantine as senior editor. She was most recently at 37 INK.

Juli Kiyan will expand her role at Penguin Press to become associate publicity director/editor, acquiring and editing titles while still overseeing selected publicity campaigns. 

Carl Bromley is joining Melville House as executive editor. He was previously editorial director of The New Press.

Katy O’Donnell is leaving Bold Type Books, where she was senior editor. She will continue to work on editorial projects.

Stefanie Lindner will join Harper Collins on October 21 as vp of sales, general books, for the adult mass merch channel, reporting to Christine Edwards. She was most recently national account director at Abrams Books.

Robin Wood has joined the BINC Foundation as communications & marketing specialist. She was most recently at Books & Books at The Studios in Key West, FL.

Bookselling
There were some defective copies in the first printing of John Grisham‘s A TIME FOR MERCY, which published a week ago. Doubleday said in a short statement, “We are currently working with our accounts to replace inventory, and have already begun shipping out corrected copies.”
