Nina Wiener has joined Mayo Clinic Press in the newly created position of editor-in-chief. She was previously managing editor of Taschen. In the new role, Wiener will “guide its evolution from a trusted publisher of consumer health guides, to a multi-platform publishing house.” 

Noleen Robinson has been promoted to head of insight at Harper Collins. Based in the UK, she will oversee their global insight program
while continuing as head of insight for UK, Australia, and India.

Nicole James has left Chalberg & Sussman to start her own agency, The James Literary Agency.

Adria Goetz has been promoted to senior literary manager at Martin Literary & Media Management.

Jaime Coyne has joined the ghostwriting and publishing services firm Kevin Anderson & Associates as a senior editor. She was previously an associate editor at UpShot Studios.

Kathryn Willms has joined The Rights Factory as an associate agent, representing adult non-fiction. She was a freelance editor and a publisher at Iguana Books.

David Cully, former president at Baker & Taylor, died February 14 of cancer. Cully joined Baker & Taylor in 2008, and transitioned to Follett in 2016, before his 2019 retirement. Follett writes, “Many of us at Follett and Baker & Taylor worked closely with David and knew him to be one of the most caring, humorous, pragmatic, interesting and happy people we’ve ever met, so this loss will be felt deeply.” His family plans to have a celebration of his life after the pandemic.
