Alexandra Primiani has been promoted to senior publicity manager at Avid Reader Press.

At Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Colleen Murphy, vp sales, has expanded her areas of responsibility which now include national accounts, field, specialty, digital and international sales and subsidiary rights. James Phirman, senior director special sales, has expanded his responsibilities to include overseeing the school supply and library business and international. Ron Hussey has been promoted to director of permissions, associate director of subsidiary rights; Olivia Wilson to national accounts manager; and Emily Breneman has been promoted to associate sales rep.

Holly La Due will join Princeton Architectural Press as senior editor, starting March 22. She was most recently an acquisitions editor at Prestel Publishing.

At Random House Children’s, Kathy DunnĀ has been promoted to director, publicity, and Lili FeinbergĀ has been promoted to senior publicist.

At Idea Architects, chief strategy officer and senior literary agent Rachel Neumann will represent children’s authors, a new area the agency. Previously she was at Plum Blossom Books and Bala Kids.

Former Zed Books director Rik Ubhi will join Bonnier Books UK on March 22 as editorial director of a new business and smart thinking imprint, reporting to Kate Parkin.

Heavy Metal Entertainment is now distributed by Simon & Schuster in the US, Canada and other international territories.
