The ABA is bringing back its #BoxedOut campaign for Amazon Prime Day 2021, which will take place on June 20 and 21. Launched on last year’s prime day to build awareness for indie bookstores during COVID-19, the event featured social media initiatives, posters, and displays pushing back against Amazon.
Penguin Random House has launched All Ways Black, an initiative that “showcases and celebrates the many facets of the Black experience.” The publisher will partner with Cree Myles, who created the initiative, and “will work alongside the Penguin Random House Creative Strategy team to develop editorial content and original programming that highlight the depth and breadth of our stories and creators.”
