Danielle Dieterich and Gabriella Mongelli have each been promoted to editor at Putnam.

At Random House Children’s, Sarah Hokanson has been promoted to art director, and Nicole Gastonguay has been promoted to assistant art director. Taline Boghosian has joined as designer. She was previously a designer at Starry Forest Books.

Miriam Vance has been promoted to contracts & rights associate at Catapult, Counterpoint, Soft Skull Press.
Latoya Smith at LCS Literary and Felice Laverne at Art + Deco have launched a new agency, ArtHouse Literary Agency, which will “acquire talent across genres in the adult and young adult markets while proudly standing at the forefront of our cultural shift.” They write, “By continuing to implement and uphold impactful diversity, equity and inclusion ideologies for clients, the team and the industry at large, the ArtHouse full-service boutique agency will feature a diverse and eclectic client list.” Smith and Laverne will be joined by two junior agents.
Rowan Cope will join Duckworth Books as publisher, starting August 9 and reporting to managing director Pete Duncan. Most recently, she has been editorial director at Faber & Faber, Penguin Press, and Granta Books.
Katie Loughnane will join Century’s fiction team as senior commissioning editor, starting August 9 and reporting to publishing director Emily Griffin. She was previously at Avon.
