At Holt, VP, executive director of publicity Pat Eisemann is retiring from trade book publicity after 42 years, as of Friday, December 2. She began her publishing career at Random House in 1979, worked at Simon & Schuster for 27 years, followed by six years at the New York Times, before joining Holt in 2010. Caitlin O'Shaughnessy writes, "She has been an outstanding advocate for the books we have published over the years, and a wonderful advocate for her team."

Bookselling: Another B&N Move

After 20 years at the location, Barnes & Noble will relocate its Court Street bookstore in Brooklyn, NY to a former Barney’s location at 194 Atlantic Avenue. The bookseller’s lease on the current space expires at the end of the year, and the company “is ensuring a timely transition from Court Street to its new store.”
