Cat Stevens Cancels North American Tour Due to Visa Issues

British musician Cat Stevens (also known as Yusef) has canceled events for his memoir, Cat on the Road to Findout, in the US and Canada, he announced on Instagram. According to his website, Stevens had scheduled nine events, from October 2 through 22, throughout the US and in Toronto. “Waiting months for visa approvals, we held out as long as we could,” he writes. “However, at this point, the production logistics necessary for my show cannot be arranged in time.” Stevens notes in his post that if his visa does get approved eventually, the events may be rescheduled for later […]

Amazon Redesigns Kindle Scribes

Amazon announced updates to their Kindle Scribes, led by a new Colorsoft Scribe, redesigning the e-readers to be lighter, with a larger screen and sleeker, thinner profile. The new devices will also have more memory and improved lighting and software. Additionally, the company is adding AI features to expand search and AI-generated summaries, and allow users to connect the device with Alexa, “letting you send your notes to the smart assistant and have conversations about them,” the Verge reports from the event ahead of the official press releases.
