Sarah J. Maas announced the next two books in her bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series in an interview on Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast. Bloomsbury will publish the sixth book on October 27, 2026, followed quickly by book seven on January 12, 2027. Maas suggested on the podcast that one of those books is so long “it will need to be bound as a set of two, so the story will occupy ‘three physical volumes.'” Titles have not yet been announced. Penguin Random House UK Launches New Children’s and YA Imprint Under Denwood
Penguin Random House UK is launching a new children’s and YA imprint, with the name to be announced. Rachel Denwood will lead the imprint as publishing and creative director, reporting to managing director Francesca Dow. She was previously managing director for children’s at Simon & Schuster UK. Lonely Planet Launches Digital Travel Platform
Travel guidebook publisher Lonely Planet has launched a digital platform that includes an app and bookable travel experiences through Lonely Planet Journeys. They bill it as the company’s “most significant evolution yet from trusted guidebooks to a connected travel platform.” The app offers “trusted travel guidance from more than 450 on-the-ground experts around the world to help travelers plan with confidence as the brand continues its shift to a digital-first platform.” Membership tiers will be rolled out later in 2026.
