Whoopi Goldberg is partnering with Blackstone Publishing to launch an imprint called WhoopInk, focused on bringing “fresh, diverse new talent to the marketplace.” Goldberg plans to be “intimately involved” with the imprint. First titles include a follow-up to Goldberg’s memoir Bits and Pieces and Blackstone executive Rick Bleiweiss’s next novel in his Pignon Scorbion & the Barbershop Detectives series. Goldberg said in a statement, “I am personally looking forward to finding new authors, working with established authors, and bringing influential voices into this curated imprint.”
