At Harper UK, group digital director David Roth-Ey will move over to executive publisher of 4th Estate and Harper Press as of February 6. (The imprint The Friday Project will continue to report to him as well.) The Bookseller says “a new digital structure at the publisher is to be announced ‘shortly.'”

The Chicago Tribune’s revamped Printers Row books pages will be introduced “sometime next month” as a standalone section that will charge readers $99 a year, or $2.99 per single edition (available only through Amazon.) The new Printers Row “will feature 24 pages of book reviews, author interviews and Chicago-focused literary news, along with a weekly bonus book of short fiction.”

Penguin issued a statement with respect to the agreement reached between them and mystery writer Martha Grimes, as first reported in Monday’s Lunch. “In a mediation before a federal Magistrate, Penguin and Martha Grimes reached a tentative agreement on sharing the legal expenses incurred by Penguin in a separate lawsuit brought by Grimes’ former agent, Peter Lampack. Our attorneys are working on a formal agreement memorializing the settlement,” the publisher said.
