Lisa Tomasello will join the Macmillan sales department as a national account manager for adult trade titles, calling on Costco, BJ’s, and their distribution partners, starting April 23. In her last job, she was in charge of the Walmart business for Simon & Schuster, where she worked for 8 years. Previously, she worked at Scholastic, Golden Books and Random House.
At the Portfolio, Sentinel, and Current imprints, Amanda Pritzker has been promoted to publicity manager; Brooke Carey has been promoted to editor; Emily Angell has been promoted to associate editor; and Jacquelynn Burke has been promoted to associate publicist.
At Simon & Schuster, Jessica Abell and Rachelle Andujar have been promoted to associate marketing manager, while Nick Greene has been promoted to assistant editor.
The New York Public Library’s Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers announced their latest group of 15 Fellows, which includes fiction writers C.E. Morgan, Luc Sante, Saïd Sayrafiezadeh, and John Wray, as well as Philip Gourevitch and Ruth Franklin.
